Doug started working with his dad, Bruce, at Sloth Electric in 1985 when he was a teenager and attended BOCES’ electrical program during high school. In 1993, he went to college and moved to New York City, returning in 2000 eager to apply his new experiences in business, management, and finance to Sloth Electric. Doug received his Masters of Electric in 2015.

Doug started working with his dad, Bruce, at Sloth Electric in 1985 when he was a teenager and attended BOCES’ electrical program during high school. In 1993, he went to college and moved to New York City, returning in 2000 eager to apply his new experiences in business, management, and finance to Sloth Electric. Doug received his Masters of Electric in 2015.

Doug is the Owner and President of Sloth Electric Inc, which he runs with Todd Rosini. Doug is a Senior Project Manager whose duties include strategic planning, quoting new jobs, ensuring quality completion of jobs, scheduling and staff development of supervisors and electricians, meeting with customers, and overseeing Sloth Electric’s comprehensive safety program. Doug leads by example, never shying away from hard work and always facing a challenge head-on. Doug’s vision is to keep Sloth Electric grounded on the values of dependability, hard work, and community-mindedness with which it was founded 40 years ago, while constantly innovating and looking to the future to meet our customers’ most technological needs.
